Some travelers will comment the construction and homeless population make the NoMa neighborhood less attractive. It will take about 15 to 20 minutes to walk to the National Mall. As for the notable things to do nearby, Union Market is the biggest attraction in NoMa. A revitalized indoor market, you’ll find food stalls and sit-down dining options, local artisans selling their wares, as well as butchers, bakers, and dairy farmers.
