This area is best suited for travelers who don’t mind using a hotel shuttle or driving their car to get to the Metro because no hotels are within walking distance. The location offers up chain restaurants and strip malls. While its proximity to the interchange leaves the neighborhood lacking in many ways, its convenience to all of the area’s major highways cannot be denied and allow travelers driving to Washington, DC to avoid further madness as they head north on I-95, or I-495 toward Washington, DC. This is mainly a commuter area where you’ll find your typical suburban sprawl. The Metro station has 48 metered stations and parking is $5 per day if you can’t wait around for a hotel shuttle.
