Although Sheraton is a popular brand, there are only three Sheraton hotels near a DC metro line, and none are in the Downtown DC area. The best Sheraton option is in Silver Springs, Maryland, which has the best rates and a great location for any traveler. The Sheraton near Braddock metro had comparable rates as well, but the parking fee was much higher and the distance to the metro station held it back. Spring Hill Sheraton was closer to the metro and had the cheapest parking fee, but overall average rates were higher and the commute into DC was less convenient. Overall, if you want to stay in a Sheraton hotel, take a look at the one in Silver Spring first for the best deals and location.

Rates are slightly more expensive, and the parking fee is higher than other Sheraton locations.

Silver Spring is an affluent and safe area in Maryland full of restaurants, shopping and culture. Nearby are the AFI Silver Theater, Cultural Center, Arts Alley and Rock Creek Park. The Sheraton in Silver Spring is 4 blocks away from the metro station, and takes about 25 minutes to get into Downtown DC. The Sheraton in Silver Spring has the best rates out of all the Sheratons. The parking fee is affordable at $14 a day, and the hotel offers a seasonal outdoor pool. The main drawback for this Sheraton is the wifi, which you need to pay for. But, for the convenience and cost, this Sheraton is still the best option.

Sheraton – Spring Hill

The Spring Hill Sheraton can be found in Tysons Corner, west of DC, in northern Virginia. The metro station is conveniently located nearby, and Tysons Corner is well known for shopping with two major shopping centers: Tyson’s Galleria and Tyson’s Corner Center. The area can get pretty busy, and walking around should be done with caution due to the high volume of traffic. The Sheraton is 2 blocks away from the metro, and commuting into Downtown DC takes 30 minutes depending on delays. This Sheraton has slightly higher rates than other Sheraton’s, but the lowest parking fees. Overall the hotel is somewhat average, and cheaper rates can be found in Silver Spring.
