Looking for an Extended Stay along the DC metro? We found three in the suburban areas, with our favorite being the Tysons Corner Extended Stay. The combination of activities nearby, convenience, overall cost and amenities puts this location as the best.
Franconia-Springfield is also a decent option, with a lower average price point, but the area itself is limited and the commute can be longer. Largo Extended Stay is another possibility, with a more convenient location to the metro station. But, the hotel is really only helpful for people going to see the Washington Redskins game. Aside from that convenience, sub-par rooms and mild safety concerns near the metro holds this hotel back. All Extended Stays offer free parking, breakfast, wifi and are typically cheaper than other hotels.

Why Find an Extended Stay Near the DC Metro
The Metro system in DC is fast, convenient and cheap. In fact, it’s cheaper to take the metro than to drive around, whether you’re in DC for business, vacation or just visiting.
Parking anywhere in the DC area can be expensive and frustrating. Add on the hectic traffic and limited street parking, and you’re looking at spending more time and money than it’s really worth.
The DC metro system can take you anywhere you need to go, usually within a 15 minute ride (30 if you’re out towards the suburbs). Be sure to stay at one of these hotels close to a Metro station and save the hassle.
