There are three Comfort Inns along the DC metro lines. The best one is the Ballston Comfort Inn in the Arlington area, which has a short commute and great location offering plenty of restaurants and nightlife near the Ballston Metro station. You’ll find the Franconia-Springfield Comfort Inn is cheaper, but bare and less convenient without a car. Shady Grove’s Comfort Inn is also a decent choice with good rates, but takes 45 minutes to commute to DC – which can limit sightseeing. All three Comfort Inns offer free parking and shuttles to metro stations, saving you extra money for DC fun.
