Hotels Near the Ballston Metro HiltonMetro Access – On Top of Metro
Price Range – $170 Weekend to $389 Weekdays

The Bottom-line: The Hilton is the closet hotel to the Ballston Metro, no more than 50 feet away. Getting acquainted with the cost of DC will be extra annoying here because nothing is added on top of already expensive accommodations. No free internet, breakfast, parking, airport shuttle, gym, really nothing. The convenience to the Metro is unmatched, but just two blocks away are better choices such as the Holiday Inn Express, and Westin. Yes, the rooms are fine, comfortable and nice, there is a cab stand outside with zip car parking too. Still for all the fees and high costs it’s not worth it.

Alarming Reviews We Spotted

We saw an unusual number of overcharge complaints here. We particularly didn’t like one review were the patron claimed his AC broke down and the best they could do was put him in a hotel 7 miles away. That customer stayed in July when DC weather is in the dogest dog days. The customer then had their credit card charged for an additional hotel even though he didn’t stay there. Other than that the Arlington Hilton near the Ballston Metro Stop was able to perform okay for its expectations.
