There are five Hilton Garden Inns near the DC metro lines, all fairly close to Downtown DC. The best one is the King Street location, with a combination of the location, average rates and stellar reviews. Rooms are spacious and incredibly nice, and the benefit of easy transportation makes it ideal for all travelers.

McPherson Square Hilton Garden Inn is right in DC, making it incredibly convenient, but the high rates and expensive parking fees make it too expensive for the average traveler. New York Ave also has the benefit of being right in DC, but also has the expensive parking fee as well as a high weekday fee. This location is better suited for a weekday trip. Bethesda and Courthouse/Clarendon Hilton Gardens are similar in costs and offer cheaper parking rates, but paying at little extra offers more convenience and interesting DC activities in King Street.

McPherson Square is a small neighborhood right in DC, a few minutes away from the National Mall. The Hilton Garden Inn is close to the White House, as well as plenty of restaurants in the area. Only a block to the McPherson Square metro station’s orange, blue and silver lines, exploring the rest of DC is convenient. This location is reviewed highly for its rooms and service. But, the average rates are much higher here than other Hilton Garden Inns, and the parking fee is the highest of all.

This Hilton Garden Inn is located in Bethesda, a vibrant urban center at the edge of DC, in Maryland. The neighborhood is affluent and trendy, with plenty of nice restaurants and interesting specialty boutiques and stores for any interests. The hotel is only two blocks to the metro station, and a short 20-minute ride to downtown DC. The location is great for families, older couples and business travelers and easily walkable. The hotel has low weekend rates and an affordable parking fee. Weekdays are the biggest kicker, jumping up nearly a $100 extra.

The New York Ave (or NoMa) Hilton Garden Inn can be found in Northeast DC, close to the Capital Building and National Mall. Nearby you can also find H Street, which is a favorite for nightlife, and the Union Market, a revitalized indoor market with food stalls, farmers market and art vendors. The New York Ave Metro station is a short two blocks from the hotel and runs on the red line. The hotel offers the cheapest weekday rates of the five Hilton Gardens and has great reviews. Unfortunately, the weekend price and parking fee can make this option pretty expensive.
