Courtyard by Marriott Near New Carollton MetroMetro Access – One Block
Price Range – $71 Weekend to $169 Weekdays

The Bottom-line: The Courtyard Marriott near the New Carrollton Metro is best suited for guests that are planning to utilize the metro, not for guests who want to stay in an inspiring part of DC. Many online reviews pointed out that the hotel was nice, updated, and comfortable. But the negatives were that the hotel is situated in an office park and that nothing is walkable, but the metro. Some guests used the hotel so that they could be close to Fedex Field, but most guests had business in downtown DC and wanted to save by staying outside the city. The hotel is positioned right off I-95, and you can board the MARC and AMTrak without using a car. If you don’t mind a 30 minute metro ride into the city this is an excellent choice to find an affordable hotel in Washington DC close to the metro. Its accommodations should be able to meet guests with moderate to high expectations.
