Capital Hilton Near Farragut MetroMetro Access – 3 Short Blocks
Price Range – $174 Weekend to $341 Weekdays

The Bottom Line: Another historic hotel in a historic area, the Capitol Hilton lives up to the standards of service and quality expected of the Hilton name. Aside from just having convenient access to attractions and the metro, the hotel’s rich history is displayed in its furnishings (which most reviewers found charming but some considered dated). The rooms have all been renovated to modern specifications, and are clean and comfortable—though due to the building’s layout, some are less-than-ideal in design. Business travelers may not be impressed by the executive lounge, but it’s an excellent choice for visitors looking for nice accommodations in a prime location.
